Reporting to the Director People & Culture, the Talent Acquisition Leader will be focused on building a global recruitment operation and delivery model to acquire the best talent to accelerate Secure Code Warrior’s growth. The focus initially of this role will be to set up a direct recruitment model, leverage employer branding initiatives, and hire and lead a team of recruiters. The ideal candidate will be a great leader and will bring optimization to the recruitment funnel, leading transformational projects, and instilling passion

Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Build a preferred global recruitment model utilising BambooHR ( ATS)
  • Create talent pools/ candidate profiles, identify targets, and source candidates
  • Build pipeline and connect with talent using channels such as, LinkedIn, networks, community events, and other active recruitment techniques
  • Manage recruitment campaigns
  • Qualify and assess candidates in phone screens and in-person interviews
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews
  • Develop strategies to build talent pipelines and effectively raise or lower the bar adapting to hiring needs
  • Manage recruitment operations within budget expectations
  • Reduce average cost per hire

Role scoping and hiring process

  • Partner with hiring managers to scope positions and review comparable market roles
  • Write compelling and informative job descriptions
  • Devise efficient interview processes, including defining stakeholder roles, developing scorecards, creating questions for each interview stage, and developing work prompts

Systematize the hiring processes

  • Define standard interview processes and train hiring managers in best practices and recruitment strategies
  • Develop job description library, general values scorecard, and communication templates
  • Track, measure, and analyze hiring process, using data to make decisions and optimize hiring processes
  • Train our hiring managers

Strategic leadership

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to develop hiring plans and set recruiting strategies to achieve goals
  • Lead & develop a team of recruiters - global team
  • Provide insight and data regarding salary trends and market dynamics
  • Distribute metrics and provide performance reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws

Support and drive People and Culture projects when required

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Previous leadership positions within a Talent Acquisition function
  • Experience in a large-scale, complex matrix organisation
  • Experience in the Technology industry (advantageous)
  • 10-15 years in talent acquisition/ people management /HR mgt experience desirable
  • Demonstrated experience scaling a team during a time of rapid growth
  • Natural relationship builder with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to building diverse, inclusive, and highly-talented teams
  • Extremely empathetic, with an ability to successfully gauge candidate skills and suitability for different types of roles
  • Flexible, creative, and oriented toward growth
  • Enthusiasm for and experience with making data-driven decisions
  • Experience developing and documenting systems and processes, implementing change, and collaborating with employees at all levels to ensure systems are utilized
  • Trustworthy and capable of handling confidential information
  • Organized, and able to prioritize, develop realistic timelines, and achieve goals in a start-up environment with competing demands
  • Ability to work and collaborate within the People & Culture team and work on a variety of HR projects
